Whether you’ve had a hectic day, a gloomy one, or you’re about to have a house party — all you need is a glass of a refreshing cocktail! It is all about being in a moment and living it fully. Here at Lemme, we design our spirits to be great on their own, and trust us — they are delicious in a glass or over ice. However, we also like to experiment and mix it up from time to time. We will post a new cocktail recipe every single week, just to make your day even more refreshing, fun, and exciting. Remember the song Baby Shark that broke the internet last year? We still can’t help but groove on that song and today’s cocktail has a similar name.

Shark Attack is a super refreshing summer drink, and it’s even better if you are having it by the beach! It gets its name from the way the three drops of grenadine look like blood in the greenish-blue water. This one always gets a laugh at parties, especially during halloween. The blend of orange, spices and citrus with a hint of berry is also quite tasty. This is an easy drink to make, and a hard one to go wrong with. And don’t you worry, even a novice can easily make this beautiful drink, that is sure to make everyone smile!

Here are the ingredients you need for it:

  1. ½ cup lemonade
  2. 2. 6 ounces of Lemme lemon rum
  3. 5 ounces vodka
  4. 3 ounces curacao
  5. ½ cup gummy sharks
  6. 6 ounces lemon seltzer
  7. Grenadine, for drizzling

Follow these steps to get going:

  1. Start with fresh ice in a rocks glass or in a cocktail shaker if you prefer to serve straight up in a martini glass. You may find crushed ice works better than cubes, it will hold the grenadine better.
  2. Pour your lemon flavor rum, Lemme over the ice
  3. Now it is time to add blue curacao.
  4. Top off the glass with 3 ounces of sour mix.
  5. You can mix up a pitcher of everything but the grenadine in your cocktail shaker. This way you can easily serve this drink at a party.
  6. Finish with a splash of grenadine and garnish, if you like. If serving straight up, stain into martini glass and add a few drops of grenadine. But the only tricky part is dropping the grenadine in. One way is to use an old food coloring dropper or put it in a spoon and let it drop.

The Shark Attack Cocktail is a great hit at parties. People love fruity flavors and a drink that has some super cool visual effects. You can make some exotic food to add to your taste buds. Our recommendation would be tamarind orange grilled chicken with broccoli and rice — and that should do the trick!
